Talk Without Your Hands

The new “Hands Free” law goes into affect momentarily, and to that end some of us have been testing hands-free devices for comfort and clarity. Since wearing something not really comfortable over my ear, and looking like some demented escapee from the looney-bin did not appeal to me, I chose to test the MVOX Hand’s Free Speaker Phone. This little gem looks like a garage door opener and clips onto the car’s sun visor or a shirt pocket. MVOX also comes with an i.d.-like necklace to wear around the neck.

The speaker is powerful enough so folks don’t have to shout in either direction–in or out. It’s a Blue
Tooth product and must be used with a Blue Tooth equipped cell phone. It switches on with a flick when it’s needed, and off when going back to using the
cell phone by itself.

The MVOX has the ability to call a few select phone numbers after it’s been programmed to do so, and works
with voice command. And unlike our kids, it actually listens and does what it’s told. MVOX is imported to Cupertino and is sold through their representative here. For more information:www.mvox.com
