Quota Of Cupertino

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and this October, the Quota
International of Cupertino club heard Barbara Rigdon of the Breast Friends Support Group speak on the topic: "The Human Side of Breast Cancer."

Barbara who is seen here with Quota co-president Gail Jensen told of her own
experiences and how one could offer support to a person going through cancer
treatment.  She reaffirmed that the support is not about the supporter, but
for the recipient.  It takes a whole community to fight cancer - family,
friends, neighbors, relatives are all important.

Quota meets the second and fourth Thursday at noon at the Blue Pheasant
Restaurant in Cupertino and welcomes guests and prospective members.
