Wednesday, December 17th the
Cupertino Historical Society held their holiday celebration at Allotta’s Deli
on Grant Road. Jim and Linda Walker sponsored and hosted the event.

Mark McKenna gave a presentation on the history of Kaiser
Permanente in the foothills of Cupertino. Mark and Jane Alvarado in conjunction
with our collections consultant, Julie DeVere, are preparing a Kaiser
Permanente history exhibit in February or March 2009 at the Cupertino
Historical Museum at Quinlan Center.

At this party, Helene Davis, President of the
Cupertino Historical Society, presented Darryl Stow with an award for his
outstanding service as board treasurer through the years.
