Cupertino is very fortunate to have it’s very own Sport’s Center, and as tax payers,we all have a stake in OUR place to get fit and stay fit, and we can do this alongside our friends and neighbors. There are single’s plans, family plans and plans for those over 50.
For members of Cupertino’s Senior Center, the cost is very low and important to maintain bone density and balance. Employees of the Sports Center are friendly and knowledgeable, and the gym has new equipment, friendly to both women and men. There are classes and tennis. All it takes are those first steps: realizing how important being fit is to you and your family, getting to the Sport Center and actually walking up the stairs, opening the door and saying hello. The staff will do the rest.
Warning: I found out the hard way that just paying for your membership and not working out does not insure either weight loss or building muscle. Darn. Deeds not words or hopes prevail in this case. However, time is on your side. The New Year-2009 is upon us. Cupertino’s very own Sport’s Center is having an OPEN HOUSE.
That means you won’t have to check it out alone. The entire family is invited to attend, there will be face painting for those so inclined, and other events. SAT. JAN. 10 from 10:00 a.m. - Noon 21111 Stevens Creek Blvd. Cupertino Don’t just resolve to get fit and stay fit, come to the party on Jan. 10th. Be there or be square. Really!!
