Pearl Chang New Trustee Of Foothill De Anza Community College Board

Cupertino School Board Pres., Pearl Chang will take over as Trustee of the Foothill
De Anza Community College Board.
Cheng was appointed to fill the seat left vacant when Paul Fong was
elected to the California Assembly. The appointment to the Foothill De
Anza Board will run until Dec. 2009.

Imagine my delight, as a travel writer and the editor of a California travel magazine–to learn that my own city, Cupertino–is getting a new luxury hotel, the likes of which we’ve not seen in any of
our neighboring towns.

Orrin Mahoney Named New Cupertino Mayor

At it’s Dec. 3rd meeting, the Cupertino City Council voted to appoint
Councilmember Orrin Mahoney as Mayor of Cupertino until Dec., 2009.
Councilmember and former Mayor Kris Wang was appointed Vice-Mayor.
Mayor Mahoney jokingly thanked former Mayor Patrick Kwok for resigning
from the City Council to take a job with the Water District which gave
him a chance to become [...]
